Robert J. Hermann, 92, of Punta Gorda, Florida died Sunday, December 30, 2018.

Bob was born March 11, 1926 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Anthony and Clara Hermann. He was a retired manager of 40 years for the Cincinnati Bell Telephone Company. He and his wife, Rose-Marie, retired to Florida 31 years ago, the past 30 of which were in Punta Gorda. Bob was a World War II veteran, serving in the US Army Artillery, as well as, a guard at the Nuremberg war trials.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Rose-Marie Hermann, his son, Robert and daughter-in-law, Donna, of Cincinnati, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass was held Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 11AM at Sacred Heart Church, 211 W. Charlotte Ave., Punta Gorda, FL 33950.  Burial with Military Honors to be presented by the U.S. Army, will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida.
