I knew Bob by the fact that I, like Bob, am a Third Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council #11483. While I can't honestly say that I knew him well, I thought that the most profound influence he had on me came when I made my first Emmaus Retreat in December, 2019 and he was part of the Team. That was when I first became aware of the profundity of the spirituality of this humble Catholic gentleman by the name of Bob Watson. May God rest his soul and may his family be consoled in the knowledge that he is in a much better place right now and that separation from them is only temporary for they will be reunited with him in due time. Amen.

Dear Bob and I shared Tuesdays at Lexington Manor as Eucharistic ministers and he provided recorded hymns for our celebration of Eucharist. He was a kind and loving person. He will be missed, but he is home now with his beloved wife. Rest in peace dear friend.

Bobby , Linda, Tommy- Sounds like Helen in her good old Jersey City accent LOL.. Heartfelt condolences on the passing of you dad Bob.. He was one of the good guys! I met Mr. Watson sometime in September of 76 not to long after I met Tommy.. It was a nice sunny day and you mom was making tuna fish sandwiches.. It happen something like that.. Your dad was nice to me from the get go. Always had a great smile on his face and was always interested in what you were up to.. Hay Kid-o how are you this, or hay Kid-o whats going on.. He treated me like a friend.. Although the Watsons moved from Matawan I would often would think about both your dad and your mom over the years. What a wonderful couple! Being a man of faith, I know in my heart that you dad was whisked straight to heaven to meet back up with Helen for a Manhattan.. May your Dad rest in eternal peace. Your friend Tim Mac
