I had the great pleasure of taking care of Bob at the Veterans Home. He often had us laughing at the things he would say, like the day he wanted to go on a train ride and the Secretary said that would make her ill. He had a quick come back, he said oh we will give you a bucket. The day I will never forget was the day I walked by him and he said you never listen to me, you never do what you are told. I stopped in my tracks and looked at him . I said excuse me do you think I am your wife. He said oh no I wouldn't want that. I said oh really now you are saying you would not marry me. He said oh I would have to think about it. He was always quick with a response. He will be missed. I could see that he was a loving Husband and Father. His family came to see him often.

Dad, Words cannot describe the loss that we feel over your passing. Although I am grateful that you are no longer suffering, there is a hole left in my heart that will only be filled when we meet again. Many boys idolize superheroes when they are growing up, but not me. YOU WERE AND WILL ALWAYS BE MY HERO!! You taught us kids what was important in life.....FAMILY. I am grateful for the countless memories, laughs and tears you brought into our lives. We couldn't have asked for a better Father, role model and loving husband to Mom. Your love for each other never waned. In fact, it seemed to grow deeper and deeper as the years passed. We all miss you terribly, but take solace that you are now free from the shackles of that horrible disease that took you from us. We feel you smiling down upon us, and happy that you have reunited with Gram, Pop, and of course your "muggsy pup" I LOVE YOU DAD !! -Bobby xoxo

I had the pleasure of working in Bob's organization at IBM back in the 70's. He was a great guy and I'm sure he will be missed by all that knew him.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

We were saddened at Bob's passing. We recall so many good times that we spent together. The many dinners and dances at the old Punta Gorda Country Club. The most memorable though has to be the cruise to Bermuda where Bob donned multiple "bras" in a lounge contest so that we could win a prize. We don't remember what the prize was but Bob with the multiple bras is forever etched in our memory. Rest in peace!!!!

Did not know Bob lived in Port Charlotte. We went to Rider College together, and lived in the same apartment complex on S. Broad St. Trenton NJ. My wife, Dee (who past away four years ago) were close friends with Bob and his first wife. We were with him when she passed away. When I graduated from Rider, Bob tried to talk me into moving to Kingston and working at IBM with him. We sent Christmas cards for a few years, but as time has away we lost contact. Dee and I moved here in Deep Creek 13 years ago, and I feel bad that I did not know you lived here. All my best to your family, I am sorry to read of Bob's passing in the Charlotte S

Bev, We shared a lot of good times. Bob was a character and an unforgettable one at that. He and Guy are probably having a good laugh right about now! I am here for you. Love Debbie
