Robert L. Croft, 82, of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte. He was born August 16, 1932 in Washington, DC and moved to Punta Gorda in 1990 from Littleton, Colorado. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Air Force. Robert was a retired Wildlife Biologist. Member of Port Charlotte United Methodist Church, United Methodist Men and Sons of American Revolution. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, who will be missed, but not forgotten.
Survived by two sons, Robert E. Croft of Littleton, CO and James D. Croft of Denver, CO; a brother, George T. Croft of Bluffton, SC; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
There will be a memorial service 11:00 AM Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Port Charlotte United Methodist Church. Rev. Brian James will officiate. Military honors and inurnment will be at later date at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
