Robert Scott Loomis, 31, of Port Charlotte, Florida left the confines of his earthly existence in a tragic motorcycle accident on March 19, 2014 in Jacksonville, FL.

Robert was born in Bradenton, Florida to Kevin & Cherie Loomis and “grew up” in Port Charlotte. He attended Charlotte County schools and Graduated from Port Charlotte High School in 2001. Robert loved the outdoors, Scuba Diving, Lobstering in the Keys, boating, fishing, and wake boarding were just a few of the activities he used to feed his “adrenaline junky” appetite. He was a “Champion” BMX racer and an undeniable fan of The Dave Matthews Band. Robert lived life to the fullest by his rules, everyday!

Robert is survived by his Father- Kevin Loomis, Mother- Cherie Loomis, Grandparents-Robert & Mary Loomis, Grandmother- Annette Hilligas, Sister- Carrie Garrett (Kenneth), Nephew-Christopher Garrett, Stepfather- Forest Burke, Stepbrother & sister-Forest & Kaitlyn Burke, as well as Jennifer Swartz, Dennis & Cindy Swartz and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and a multitude of “close friends”. He was a Beloved Son, Grandson, Brother, Uncle and Friend to many people.
