She was born October 14, 1962 in New Orleans, Louisiana and moved to Port Charlotte
25 years ago from Zolfo Springs, Florida. Robin was a member of the First Apostolic Church of
North Fort Myers and was a Certified Nursing Assistant III at Peace River Regional Medical Center, Port Charlotte.
Survived by her loving family, husband, Robert Scott Timmons of Port Charlotte; two daughters, Crystal Timmons-Alvarado and Jennifer Leek, two son-in-laws, Julio Alvarado and Rodd Leek of Port Charlotte; 4 grandchildren, Zaiden, Xzavier, Madelynn and Stetson; mother, Lorene Gilley of Okeechobee, FL; seven sisters, Sandra Corcoran of Port Charlotte, Martha Wilborn of Arcadia, FL, Linda Mayberry of Cordele, GA, Barbara Garner of Bowling Green, FL, Shirley Wilson of Bradenton, FL, Lori Gilley of Kiel, MO and Alice Terry of Madison, FL; three brothers, Larry Gilley of Monticello, KY, Joe Gilley of Plant City, FL and Thomas Gilley of Plant City, FL; and a host of great friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, March 5, 2013 at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 4:00 PM, March 6, 2013 at Roberson Funeral Home
Port Charlotte Chapel.

robin was always so much fun when we got to gather as kids was always so much laughter ... you i and betty lou like the female version of the 3 musketeers .... then ther was that time that i met sammy mendoza and got a crush on him an had no ideal you did too and it nearly ripped are realtionship appart ... we lost contact over the years until aug 2011 when grandad passed and we got to sit an talk for a long while i had missed you so in my life ... but we picked up right where we left off ... i am so heartbroken that you are gone ,,, more so tht i didn't find out for over a month that you had gone ... youwere so stong minded and strong willed .. so much stronger then me ... i loved you and i will miss you terribly ... bit i know your not hurting anymore and your looking down on me smile and saying it's alright ... an keep that thinking cap on :) love and miss you ...

Robin, I'll never forget the time Mom and I went to Oklahoma to get you and take you back home with us. I was 13 yrs. old and you were just 6 months or so. My job was to feed you and change your diapers, not to mention keeping you entertained while Mom drove. You were such a cute baby. So are your daughters.
I know they'll miss you dearly as Scott will. There will be no more pain nor tears for you, only singing and shouting from here to eternity.
