Rosalia was born February 16, 1931 in Italy, and moved to Port Charlotte from her adopted home of Long Island, New York, with her husband Michael Campanella in 1989. A retired dressmaker, she was a member of San Pedro Catholic Church in North Port, FL.
She is survived by her three sons, Tom Bell (Debra A. Card) of Punta Gorda, FL, Joseph Campanella of Mastic Beach, LI, NY, and Gerard (Kim) Campanella, of Port Charlotte; four grandchildren, granddaughters, Lenora, Alexis and Alyssa Campanella, and one grandson, Joseph Michael Campanella; two brothers, Pino and Chico Monaco, both of Italy, and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of nearly 50 years Michael in January of 2005.
A Funeral Prayer service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2016, at Roberson Funeral Home, Port Charlotte Chapel, 2151 Tamiami Trail. Committal service and entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, FL.
