She was born May 12, 1913 in Beloit, Wisconsin and moved to Port Charlotte thirty-two years ago from Massapequa, New York. Rose was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
Survived by two sons, Anthony (Patricia) Mascia of Port Charlotte and Sam (Carol) Mascia of Jensen Beach, FL; eight grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren and two great- great grandchildren; preceded in death by her husband, Vincent J. Mascia who passed in 2008.
Visitation will be from Friday 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Friday, December 28, 2012 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte.
Memorial contributions may be made to Tidewell Hospice, Inc., 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238.
Friends may visit online at www.robersonfh.com to extend condolences to the family and sign the memory book. Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home & Crematory Port Charlotte Chapel.
