Roseanna M. Mertens, 78, of Lake Suzy, Florida passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at her residence.

She was born May 9, 1931 in Lodi, New Jersey and moved to Lake Suzy in 2007 from Manahawakins, NJ. She was a retired accountant for Curtis-Wright Airplane Manufacturer in New Jersey. She was of Catholic faith.

Survived by her loving husband, Kenneth L. Mertens of Lake Suzy; three brothers, Anthony Lama of Paramus, NJ, Frank Lama of Lake Suzy, Sal Lama of Springhill, FL; a sister, Lucille Cammarata of North Port, FL. two step, daughter, Susan Dami of Montgomery, New York and Laura Paul of Bartonville, PA;
A stepson, Tom Mertens of Jersey City, NJ; six nieces and four nephews.
Seven grandchildren and twenty-two great grand nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, July 11, 2009 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte. Deacon Mike DiMeglio of St.Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Inurnment will be held at a later date at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ
