September 6, 2007 at Consulate Health Care of Port Charlotte.
She was born June 17, 1918 in Lima, Ohio to the late Jane F. and William
F. Haspel and moved to Port Charlotte in 1975 from Glencoe, Illinois. Rosella was
a retired registered nurse and hospital records administrator. She was a member of
the Eagles Arie #3296, Moose Lodge #2121, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary
Post 5690, Elks Lodge 2153 and American Legion Post #110 all of Port Charlotte.
She loved playing bingo with her late husband, Maurice Berger who died in 1990.
She is survived by her loving family, two nieces, Emily J. Stimmel and
Jeanella A. Hawk both of Lima, OH; a foster brother, William McLaughlin of
Lima; dear friends, Bonnie and Frank Kiley of Port Charlotte; and several great nieces and nephews and several great great nieces and nephews.
