Rupert E. Glen, 99, of Milton, PA passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Milton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Milton, PA.
Rupert was born to Theophilus and Letitia Glen on November 26, 1915 in Guyana, South America. He was an educator in Guyana, and after moving to the USA in 1979, he was employed as a data analyst at Dun and Bradstreet. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew him.
He is survived by his son, Rupert Glen and his wife Marveta of Queens New York, his daughter, Vivette Lewis and her husband Linden of Lewisburg PA and his son Lennox Glen and his partner Christine Noble of Bloomsburg, PA; his grandchildren Rupert, Katrina, Adrian, Avis, Sénami, Brandon and Lennox; his six great grandchildren; and nieces Margaret Bernard of Trinidad and Andrea Telman of London.
Visitation will be held 10:00AM-11:00AM, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00AM, Friday, February 20, 2015 at St James Episcopal Church, 1365 Viscaya Drive, Port Charlotte, FL 33952. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to St. James Episcopal Church.
