Mr. Russell E. Resch, 59, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Friday, October 8, 2010 at his home.

He was born May 30, 1951 in the Bronx, New York and moved to Charlotte County 35 years ago from New Milford, New Jersey. He was the owner and President of Chalk-Up, Inc. of Port Charlotte and a member of Grace Presbyterian Church of Lake Suzy. Russell was a veteran of the Viet Nam War, serving in the U.S. Navy Submarine Service, where his last duty assignment was the USS Hawkbill (SSN666).

He is survived by his brother, Stephen J. (wife-Lucia)Resch of Fishers, IN
