Pam I am so deeply saddened to hear Russ has passed. I was always so happy to see you both when he & I were scheduled for PT at the same time! His tenacity & sense of humor was truly inspiring & the abundance of love and your devotion to each other filled my heart with joy. Although he was taken so very soon, I truly hope the love you shared and wonderful memories you have together will help you through this terribly sad time. I know I feel honored to have met Russ, even fleetingly, and want you to know his amazing attitude perseverance at PT made an impact on me that I will never forget. I can only strive to emulate the same love & devotion you displayed, in my own relationship. Please let me know if there is anything all that I can do to help, I'm here to offer support in any way you need. XO

Rusty was always a great friend to me! When we were in high school we were both usually grounded by our parents on the weekends so we kept each other company on the phone. He was like an older brother to me that I never had. He didn’t really like my choice in boys, but would listen to me anyway. As adults, We stayed in touch while he lived in Chicago and when he met his wonderful wife, Pam! Then, we worked together at my father‘s real estate office in Mount Dora. Florida. It was a gift to have known Rusty in my life and I am so thankful for the love he had with Pam. My entire family sends our condolences. Rusty will live in our hearts and be sorely missed.

We've only known Rus for a few years and my son, Mike was aquainted with with Pam and Rus and offered to help them after Hurricane Ian. Mike climbed upon their roof and placed blue tarp over their damaged shingles and cleared the brush and debris from behind their home to open the view to the pasture where the cows roamed with any other animals that chanced the wild pasture. During this time, Mike had many discussions with Pam and Rus, and admired Rus's intelligence on many subjects and found Rus's deep thoughts to be refreshing, interesting and very enjoyable. Since we all were without electricity, Pam and Rus were outside cooking on the grill and the smell floating in the air was delicious!!! Rus apparently loved to cook and was the "Master Chef" in concocting a variety of spices that enhanced the flavor of chicken, hamburgers, pork - you name it!!! After our complimenary comments to them about how the scent enticed ou senses, we were presented with a sampling of their masterpieces which were absolutely out of this world!!! We bragged how exquisite the samplings were and next thing you know, there was a visit from Rus and Pam with a bottle of Rus's special 6 spice combo for steak, poultry, and pork. What a wonderful unexpected surprise! which we are still enjoying to this day!!! In fact, after Mike left to go home, we were given a bottle of the special 6 spice combo to take to him for his wedding gift which of course he was delighted to receive!!! I hope Pam wrote down the recipe or at least knows how to reproduce it!!! Several months ago, another secret recipe arrives, this time Rus's 7 Spice Combo especially for Poultry and Fish!!! Wow!!! We felt like we hit the jackpot in gourmet style. Special spices to enhance our meats from "Master Chef, Rus!!!" Special memories we will cherish forever. We feel so grateful to have Rus and Pam touch our lives with such thoughtfulness and kindness, and friendship!!! Just remember Pam, you treated Rus with kindness, respect ad Love and to Rus, you were his guiding light and angel and Rus will always be with you throughout your life and beyond when you'll meet again!!! With special thoughts ad prayers and Love to you both!!!
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

He was teaching me how to fish. Then came the Dolphins. I was looking and enjoying.. Rusty saw me said that is not trout they are scaring the fish away...He was smiling and I got back to fishing..
