He was born July 3, 1921 in Haiti and spent two years in Cuba before immigrating to the United States in 1949. In 1990 he moved to Port Charlotte from Brooklyn, New York. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Port Charlotte.
Survived by two daughters, Marie Lourdes Constant and Danielle Laguerre; a son, Erve Anthony Edouard ; two grandsons, Jerry Laguerre and Jean- Wagner Constant; two great grandchildren Jasmine and Monica Constant.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Catholic Wake Service at 7:30 PM at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00PM, Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte.
