SALLY JEANETTE GRAY, 80, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Tuesday, July 08, 2008 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital, Port Charlotte surrounded by her loving family.

She was born August 14, 1927 in Akron, Ohio and moved to Port Charlotte in 1988 from there. She was a member of the Murdock Baptist Church of Port Charlotte and the Charlotte Bay Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Survived by her loving family, her husband of 58 years, Harry L. Gray of Port Charlotte; two daughters, Michelle (James W.) Herston of Port Charlotte and Grace (Dennis) Shanafelt of Jefferson, GA; 4 grandchildren, Dean Shanafelt, Heidi (Rudy) Tingelhoff, Matthew J. Herston, Dr. Melody Herston; two great grandchildren Oliver Johann and Grace Meredith Tingelhoff; and her beloved pet dogs, Onyx and Alex; She was preceded in death by a great grandson, O. Denny Tingelhoff, her parents, Frank and Maude Feller, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
