Sandra K. Harvey, 67, of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in Port Charlotte surrounded by her family.

Born January 19, 1948 in British Guyana, Sandra and her husband Mearl J. Harvey, whom she wed in August 1970, moved to Port Charlotte in 1982 from Michigan. Sandra, a local Elementary Teacher for 32 years, attended Trinity Baptist Church in Punta Gorda.

Survivors include her beloved husband of more than 44 years Mearl; a daughter Kristeen K. Harvey of Punta Gorda; four grandchildren, Mearl, Jerrica, Austin and Selina; six great grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth Peterson of MI, and numerous extended family members.

Visitation with funeral service to follow celebrating Sandra’s life will be held from 6:00 P.M. to start of service at 7:00 P.M. Monday, March 2, 2015 at Roberson Funeral Homes Port Charlotte Chapel. Steven C. Thompson, Pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, will officiate.

Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Homes & Crematory Punta Gorda Chapel.
