Beloved father, son, brother and friend Scott Michael Cannizzaro, 45, of Port Charlotte, Florida  passed away peacefully at home on March 26, 2026. Scott was born on November 5, 1980, in South Weymouth, Massachusetts to Michael & Donna Cannizzaro.

Scott treasured spending time with his sons and was an avid Boston Red Sox & New England Patriots fan. He loved to play sports and was a phenomenal pitcher.  He coached Pop Warner football and Little League baseball. Scott loved to dress like he was walking down the runway and always had the biggest and brightest smile when he walked into the room. Scott’s favorite place to go and hang out was South Beach in Miami. His hobbies were collecting collectibles, listening to music, video games and many more…

Scott is survived by his parents Michael & Donna Cannizzaro, his four sons; Scotty, Sage, Storm & Saint, stepson Chase, his sister Angela Cannizzaro and his partner Michelle Stodgell and her daughters Emilee & Keilee, and special friends; Nikki and Rachel.

There will be a Celebration of Life announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made in Scott’s memory to the Boys & Girls Club of Charlotte County.

Scott will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
