Shirley Kay Wager, 77, of Wesley Chapel, Florida died Monday, September 30, 2024 at Gulfside Hospice in Zephyrhills, Florida.
She was born November 24, 1946, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late Arthur F. Lee and Lessie Ann (Hoover) Lee. Shirley was a beautiful woman who loved life to the fullest. She loved to play bingo and watch her favorite football teams The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and The Kansas City Chiefs play. She also enjoyed watching Jeopardy and The Wheel of Fortune but most of all she loved her family and friends and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Shirley is survived by two daughters, Michelle R. Alderman-Murdock of Wesley Chapel, FL and Georgia K. Akers of Arkansas; two sisters, Mary Orinderoff and Denise Ruiz of Oklahoma City, OK; a brother, Guy Lee of Oklahoma City, OK; her daughter in law, Susan Wager; 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Lee Wager who died in 2004 and her husband, Ralph F. Wager who died in 2013.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 7, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel followed by a Graveside Service at 11:00 AM at Restlawn Memorial Gardens,1380 Forrest Nelson Blvd, Port Charlotte, FL 33952.
