Born November 1, 1915 in Chicago, Illinois, Stanley, a veteran of World War II, United States Navy, began a long career with Northrop Grumman, married and raised two daughters. Following his retirement, Stanley and his wife left Chicago in 1977 to settle in Port Charlotte. Stanley was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 2121, and American Legion Post 110, all of Port Charlotte.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Dorothy P. Gulanowski, daughters Cathy Maris of Tacoma, WA, and Terri Schmit of Park Ridge, IL, and 5 grandchildren. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters.
