Stanley E. McAuliffe, 87, of Englewood, Florida died Wednesday, December 23, 2009
at Tidewell Hospice in Englewood.
He was born May 11, 1922 in Duxbury, Massachusetts and moved to Englewood 20 years
ago from Carver, MA. Stanley retired from the Stratford Fire Dept., Stratford, CT in 1972. He
was a Catholic, a member of American Legion Post #223, Duxbury, MA and Elks Lodge No. 2378 of
Englewood. Stanley was a veteran of World War II, U.S. Army.
Survived by a daughter, Trena R. (Dean) Cramer of Englewood, FL; a son, Thomas (Sally)
McAuliffe of Port St. Lucie, FL; 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; and many nieces
and nephews.
