Tamara Whisenant, 74, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024.
Tamara was born on March 24, 1950, in Syracuse, N.Y. She moved to Port Charlotte in 1978. She was a wife (43 years), a mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to everyone who met her. She loved the Rolling Stones and going to blues festivals. Tamara also loved the beach and was never more beautiful than when the wind blew her hair away to show her beautiful face. She was Mother Nature personified.
Tamara was welcomed into heaven by her parents, Glen and Greta Baldwin and her brother, Barry Baldwin. She is survived by her husband Pete, son Reid McLellan, stepson Derek Whisenant, stepdaughter Summer Nicklas, and ten grandchildren.
A graveside memorial service will be held today, Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens in Punta Gorda, FL.
