In Loving Memory of Terry Micheal Davis, age 68, of Englewood, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, June 18th, 2025 at his Englewood residence.

It is with heavy hearts, we celebrate the life of Terry Micheal Davis- a beloved son, father, fun uncle, brother, nephew and a cherished friend. His warmth, friendship and joking with all will be remembered. Terry passed away with a sudden illness and will be missed so much. Leaving behind memories and being called Uncle T from his nieces and nephews.

Born on March 23rd, 1957, Terry graduated from Old Orchard Beach High School in Maine before enlisting in the USAir Force and stationed at Minot Air Force Base in Minot North Dakota. He became a proud Military Police Officer and guarded the base as well as the missile sites in the area from the mid 70’s to the mid-80s. He retired from the Air Force and returned to Maine to enroll in the Maine Criminal Justice Police Academy and pursued his calling in law enforcement for almost 18 yrs in Biddeford Maine. He was promoted to police detective after being a street officer and loved his two partners like brothers. Terry was loved and respected by all, doing what he loved alongside his two partners and friends.

In June of 2003, he and his brother and sister –in- law chose to move to Englewood on the west coast of Florida. Tired of the freezing cold and a new chapter in life, they shared a duplex that was built 5 months later. He wasn’t ready to retire yet, so Terry held odd jobs to keep busy. Unfortunately, a terrible work injury halted everything, and he became disabled. Terry when he finally got the go ahead took up various hobbies, which were his love of fishing, motorcycle riding to explore as well as swimming in the pool, riding a bike and walking a lot and reading murder mysteries. He appreciated our yard Turtle Speedy.

Terry decided he missed Maine in the summer, and through the help of a great friend who offered him a place to put his new travel trailer he bought on their property and would go up for a month every year till his health got worse. Terry also took a trip to Thailand for 3 weeks spending time with his son David Girard whom he raised from the age of 14 and always talked about all the great times he had with David there and in the Virgin Islands. Boy did Terry have stories to tell.

Terry loved Football at the Tiki Bar every season, that his brother Steve built for him. Terrys favorite teams were Patriots, San Francisco 49ers, and the Tampa Bay Bucs. You could hear him yell to Tampa Bay and back, he got so excited and passionate. This was always shared every year with family and friends with our get-togethers. He also shared a passion for cooking Asian food, trying different things out. Loved his time with family and looked forward to when they came to visit.

Terry is survived by his son TJ, of Biddeford Me with his 3 children, better half Connie, her children, Sister Lisa Davis and her children and grandchildren of Biddeford Maine, Terry’s son David Girard of Fort Pierce FL; Brother Steve and Karin Page Davis of Englewood, Fl, their children, son Jim and daughter- in- law Jen Davis, Julie and son- in- law Russell Chandler and, Jessica and son-in -law Matt Lavigne. 5 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. They were very close to their uncle as well and Uncle T will be missed highly.

Terry was cremated and there will be no funeral or service as per his wishes, and his ashes will be spread in Old Orchard Beach by his son TJ. You may share a memory of Terry on the Roberson Funeral Home memorial site in Port Charlotte FL. Thank you all that loved him.
