Tessie was born February 27, 1922 in Manhattan, New York and moved to Port Charlotte in 1986 from West Babylon, N.Y. She was a catholic faithful with St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Tessie was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great -great grandmother and friend and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Rosemarie Jackson of Port Charlotte; 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM with a wake service at 7:00PM, Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Graveside service and interment will be held at a later date in Farmingdale, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tidewell Hospice Inc. 5955 Rand Blvd. Sarasota, FL 34238.
Friends may visit online at www.robersonfh.com to sign the memory book and extend condolences to the family. Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel.
