Theresa Elizabeth Hoffmaster, 83, of Port Charlotte, Florida, formerly of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Theresa’s family is sad to announce her passing on Friday, July 28, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones after a battle with cancer.

She was born on April 1st, 1940, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late John and Emma Fergione.  An Office Administrator, Theresa and her husband John E. Hoffmaster, Sr., moved to Southwest Florida in 1974.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband John Hoffmaster, a daughter, Carol E. Reineck, and sisters Madeline Thompson and Lorraine Hoffmaster, Theresa is survived by her sons, John E. Hoffmaster, Jr., Thomas Hoffmaster, Kurt Hoffmaster, and Karl Hoffmaster; a sister, Rosemarie Apice; grandchildren, John III, Michael, Anthony, Kristine, Colleen, Elizabeth, Carolyn, Kersten, Hannah, Emma, and Hailey; and great grandchildren, Arisara, Kumiko, Lyla, Jacob, Brant, Cooper, Waylon, and Wyatt.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 9th, 2023.  Visitation will be from 10 AM to 11 AM, with service at 11 AM, at Roberson Funeral Homes Port Charlotte Chapel located at 2151 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte.  Committal and entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens’ cemetery also located in Port Charlotte.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Theresa’s memory are suggested to Community Hospice & Palliative Care, care of Community Hospice of Northeast Florida Foundation for Caring Inc., 4266 Sunbeam Rd, Jacksonville, Florida 32257.
