Theresa M. Panetti, 83, of Punta Gorda, Florida died Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Bayfront Hospital- Port Charlotte.

She was born May 15, 1934 in Oswego, New York to the late Louis and Ethel (nee-Lamb) Bailey.  Theresa was a retired school teacher who taught for over 30 years at Jackson Heights Middle School, Orlando, Florida. She moved to Punta Gorda with her late husband, Carl Panetti in 2001 from Orlando. Theresa was a member of San Antonio Catholic Church, Port Charlotte.

She is survived by a sister, Evelyn Brooks of Oswego, New York; a brother-in-law, Frank Chillemi of Oswego; and a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Bailey of Punta Gorda; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday 11:00 AM, Sept. 6, 2017 at San Antonio Catholic Church, 24445 Rampart Blvd., Port Charlotte, FL 33983. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte.
