Thomas “Tommy” Donald Griffiths, 72, of Punta Gorda, Florida died Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Advent Health-Port Charlotte Hospital, Port Charlotte, Florida.
Born May 28, 1953, in Youngstown, Ohio. He was known as Tommy, and Tom Slick to his friends. Tommy was a son, brother, father, and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a retired heavy equipment operator at steel mills in Ohio and relocated to Florida to enjoy his retirement years.
Survived by his two children, Andrea, and Dominic; six grandchildren, seven nieces and nephews; and his ex-wife and dear friend Darla. He was preceded in death by his parents, Blaine, and Margaret “Peggy” (nee Scanlon) Griffiths; and siblings, Blaine Griffiths, Luther Griffiths, Delores O’nesti and Ruth Cuccarese.
“May his soul now be at peace in the arms of our forgiving Lord.” Tommy will be honored and laid to rest at Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, Florida.
