Timothy C. Weaver, age 65, of Punta Gorda, Florida, formerly of Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2022, at his Punta Gorda residence.

Timothy was born on a Saturday, October 20, 1956, to Cortez and Arlene Weaver in Big Spring, Texas.  Timothy went on to join and serve in the U.S. Marine Corp. as an Infantry Weapons’ Repairman and Gunsmith.  After returning to civilian life in Alabama, Timothy devoted his talents and time to the building industry as a Custome home builder while raising a family.  He was a devoted father and enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking and motorcycle riding.

He and his wife Teresa, moved from Alabama to Punta Gorda where he worked for Charlotte County’s Facilities Maintenance department.  Timothy will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Teresa H. Weaver of Punta Gorda, FL; daughters Melinda Marie (Sp. Chris) Brooks of Athens, AL, Shanna Kali Weaver of Harvest, AL, and Ilea Marriah (Sp. Travis) Ryan of Decatur, AL; stepson and stepdaughter, Robert Emerson of Punta Gorda, FL, and Heather Holmes of Huntsville, AL;  four grandchildren, Makenzie, Jeanea, Lawson and Michaela; his father, Cortez Losson Weaver, Jr. of Dunnellon, FL; a sister, Sherry (Sp. Hugh) Lafferty also of Dunnellon, FL, and a brother, Robert (Sp. Penny) Weaver of Oklahoma City, OK.  He was preceded in death by his mother Arlene Webster Weaver.

In accordance with Timothy’s wishes, no funeral services are planned at this time and date.  A celebration of life may be held at a later date in Alabama where he will be laid to rest.  Please return to this tribute page for updated information on planned services.
