Tina Louise Smith, 53, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Monday, November 18, 2014 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte. She was born January 28, 1960 in Poplarville, Mississippi and moved to Port Charlotte in 1996 from West Palm, FL. She was a Baptist and a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be missed, but not forgotten.
She is survived by her loving family, her husband, Barney Smith of Port Charlotte; three sons, Carl Smith of MS, Charles Douglas Smith of Port Charlotte and Corey Smith of Punta Gorda; her mother, Pauline Mitchell of Poplarville; four sisters, Sandra Kay Gilmer of Yukon, OK, Marcy Lee of Norman, OK, Beverly Cotton of Poplarville and Audrey Brogan of Dandridge, TN; nine grandchildren ; preceded in death by her father Jewel Penton and brother, James Delton Wells.
There will be a memorial service celebrating Tina’s life 10:30 AM Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS, 1303 Forrest Nelson Blvd Port Charlotte, FL 33952.
