Victor N. Renna, 76, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Tidewell Hospice Inc. in Port Charlotte.
Victor was born November 20, 1936 in White Plains, New York and moved to Port Charlotte 13 years ago from New York. He was a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church for many years. Victor was a Korean War veteran who served proudly in the U.S.M.C. Victor was an avid golfer and a member of Riverwood Golf and Country Club in Port Charlotte. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Florence A. Renna; a son, Joe and his wife Amy Renna of Flanders, NJ; 2 daughters, Lisa Dulin of Ossining, NY and Julie Wheeler of Wappingers Falls, NY; 2 sisters, Rose Ambroselli of Yorktown, NY and Theresa Hull of Peekskill, NY; 2 brothers, Nicholas Renna and Phillip Renna both of North Port, FL and 6 grandchildren, Victoria, Douglas, Alyssa, James Brittany and Nicholas.
A Memorial Mass with military honors will be held 10:00AM, Thursday, January 24, 2013 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, 1441 Spear St. Port Charlotte, FL 33948. Inurnment will be held at a later date by the family.
