Violet was born to Daniel and Linda Beaton on July 9, 1926 in Jamaica, West Indies and moved to Port Charlotte in 1994 from Bloomfield, CT. She was a member of the Port Charlotte United Methodist Church. Violet was a wonderful woman who loved life to the fullest. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is survived by her loving family, husband, Cecil R. Ward of Lauderhill, FL; and a nephew, Winston Lawrence of Hartford, CT
Visitation will be held 10:00AM-11:00AM, Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Port Charlotte United Methodist Church in Port Charlotte with a service to follow at 11:00AM at the church. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte, FL.
