He was born March 26, 1930 in Yonkers, New York and moved to Port Charlotte from Jefferson Valley, New York in 1990. He was a veteran of the Korean War, US Army. He will be missed by all who knew him.
William is survived by his loving family, a daughter, Patricia Gaudette of Hyde Park, NY; two sons, Robert W. Thomson of North Port, FL and William L. Thomson of Sarasota, FL; a sister Margaret of Long Island, NY; five grandchildren, Kelly, Lisa, Jamie, Kristen, and Kaitlin; and several nieces and nephews
