William was born February 22, 1951 in Morristown, New Jersey and moved to Lake Suzy 5 1/2 years ago from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was the Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending for National Bank of S.W. Florida. He was a correlate of many boards and committees in various states. He was involved with helping people and was highly renowned as a humanitarian.
He was survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Marilyn van Dyk, a daughter, Jennifer E. Rodolph of Frisco, TX, a step-daughter, Amber Morris of Port Charlotte, FL; a sister, Jodi van Dyk of Albuquerque, NM; a brother, John van Dyk of Orlando, FL; and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Jean van Dyk and 2 sisters, Margery and Betsy van Dyk.
