I very much liked getting to know Bill on the golf course and after, sharing drinks and stories at the clubhouse . I think we had a closer relationship because we both started life in New Jersey . I spent my early days in Maplewood , New Jersey . Bill will be missed by all. Gerry Murchison

Bill taught me alot about life, how to work hard, how to play hard and how to show respect for people. Bill was truly loved and respected by all who had the privelege of knowing him. We are all deeply saddened by this loss and our thoughts and prayers are with Joyce, Bill Jr and the rest of the family.

Our prayers and hearts go out to Joyce , Bill Jr. the grandchildren and the rest of the family as they mourn the loss of William J. a true family man. Bill absolutely adored his wife Joyce, and would brag about her often. When Bill had an audience to give him a good listening to, you could be sure his family was a part of the discussion. And Bill had many opportunities and audiences to share his stories, explain new manufacturing concepts or simply explain the meaning of the words "angular momentum". Bill was extremely proud of his son "Billy". Bill and Bill Jr. entered and won many golf tournaments over the years. speaking with Bill just several weeks ago I believe he told me they won a tournament as recently as last summer. Bill had many talents and skills and he excelled in anything he tried. You could say Bill was a natural athlete. And William J. was a fierce competitor as well. All of this made William J. Wolsky a winner for sure. Bill and I worked together since 1983. He spent most of his career in Manufacturing while I spent most of my career in Sales and Marketing. This might help explain why we didn't always agree on every issue. Every year since his retirement, Bill and I have had long and lively telephone conversations or a round of golf at Pinehurst Country Club. Bill won every golf game every year we played. WI have many wonderful memories from our relationship. I feel fortunate to have known Bill for so many years, but even more, I am proud to have made a true friend. We will all miss his quick smile and hearty laugh.

The sport of skiing really made him beam. You had it made being on his “ski” team! Bill sought out the best, Put them to the test Mentoring his group, in the NORGREN “scheme”! So this is it, to Bill Wolsky, a Toast! A Renaissance Man, a gracious Host. He walked the walk, And talked the talk And made his mark, Coast to Coast! God Bless his family, his memory, and his "ski" team! Cf

Joyce, I was so sorry to hear of Bill’s death. He was a great leader, teacher and mentor. I came to work at Norgren in May 1993 as a Design Manufacturing Engineer. We had many review meetings in the Executive Boardroom - how I learned of the word bigwig at these meetings! I was fortunate to travel with Bill to Shanghai China in 1999, at the layover in Narita Japan, Untied Airline announced that our flight was canceled and United transferred us to a Hong Kong Airline, Dragonair. That’s when Bill asked me “what do you know about this Dragonair?” My answer was, from an engineering perspective, moving at the speed 430mph, the standard seatbelt will not save us… anyhow, when we landed in Shanghai at 1:00AM, Bill said I will never fly with Dragonair again. I remember seeing Bill at a CU football game in Boulder, we conversed on things that matter in our live, our friends and relationships matter, taking care of ourselves and each other and not allowing our deeply rooted personal priorities, which are what in so many ways define us, to get lost in all the other things that matter… he will be missed and hope your memories of him will be some comfort to you. Please accept my condolences on the loss of your longtime friend and partner. Sincerely, Tom Nguyen

Such sad news. Bill hired me at Norgren..twice! He was always fun to tease and be teased by; great wit and wonderful sense of humor. He was a gracious host, showing my parents around the plant, and so polite with my Mom that I think she had a crush on him! Bill had also encouraged me to get back to my artistic roots, even purchasing a painting from me a few years ago. One of those individuals who might have seemed rough on the outside at times, but soft on the inside. A genuine kind soul. So sorry for your loss.
Bobbie (Ortman) Mues left a message on March 20, 2014:
Dear Joyce & Family: I am shocked and so very sad to hear of Bill's death. Our friendship is over 60 years old and we have stayed in touch through Bernards High School reunions and notes on Christmas cards! His journey through life has been an amazing one--his family, his career and accomplishments, his friends and all the lives he has touched--he gave 100% to all. Bill will be remembered by the Class of 1956 by giving a donation to the high school library in his name. I cherish so many wonderful memories. My deepest sympathy and love you, Joyce, and to your family. Bobbie
