Willine B. Smith, 86, of Venice, Florida passed away Friday, November 29, 2024 at Tidewell Hospice Inc. in Venice, Florida.

Willine was a devoted wife and mother. She was known for her great love for her family. She also was known for her great love for animals, thus her career as a vet technician and dog groomer. Another love in her life was tennis. She played in a local league well into her 70s. In addition, Willine was a longtime member and faithful supporter of Calvary Baptist Church of Englewood, FL. Throughout the years, she served in various ministries of the church. She will be remembered for her simple faith, generosity, and winning personality.

Willine is survived by her sister, Claudette Cooper, her daughter, Tami Peckham and spouse, Ron Peckham; her son, Timothy M. Smith & spouse, Elizabeth Smith; grandchildren, Laurel Shishiga, Amanda Smith, and Nathan Doerr.

Interment was held in Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, FL.
