Robert Galvin, 62, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at his home in Port Charlotte, surrounded by his family and under the care of Tidewell Hospice.

Rob was born November 3rd to the late John and Edith Galvin in Flushing Queens, New York.  He and his wife, Irene Galvin, nee Horne, were married on May 22, 2005.

Rob is survived by his loving family, including his wife, Irene, of Port Charlotte, FL; his daughter Amanda M of Deer Park, NY and his son, Jake F of Smithtown NY (grandchildren Cameron and Connor) and his son with Irene, Kenny J of Massapequa Park, NY;  his sisters, Denise Lanese (John) of Port Charlotte, FL; Joyce Galvin of San Jose, CA; and many nieces and nephews.

After living most of his life on Long Island, he moved to Port Charlotte in 2019 with his wife.  Rob was a retired business owner of B&R Performance Inc in Mineola, New York.  During his years in Florida, he worked at the Medicine Shoppe in Punta Gorda, Florida.  Rob had been an outstanding provider for his family and his friends.  He was exceptionally generous to those he loved.  He was a great man, had a great heart and it is a great loss.

Celebration of Life will be held after his ashes are interred at Flushing Cemetery, Queens New York.
