Warren Frank Robbins, 82 of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024, with his daughter by his side.
Warren was born to the late Orville Warren Robbins and Helen Cirillo (Robbins) Fazzio on April 22, 1942, in Gloversville, New York. After graduating from Gloversville High School, Warren enlisted in the Air Force, serving from 1960 to 1964, He then returned to Gloversville, residing there until 1969 when he moved his family to Meco.
While serving in the Air Force, he was stationed in various locations, including Lackland Air Force base in San Antonio, Texas, Cape Cod, Massachusetts and in Vietnam where he worked as a communication specialist.
Warren began his professional career in 1965 at General Electric in Schenectady, NY, as a machinist and Union Representative, a position he maintained until 1980. During this period, he met Diane Perry Ramsey, and the couple relocated to Houston Texas. The couple married in 1982.
Warren went on to serve as General Manager at Quality Oilfield Product in Cypress, Texas from 1982 until 1998. In 1998 Warren and Diane moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he became General Manager at Get Fresh Sales, serving in this capacity until 2005. The couple then returned to Saint Johnsville, New York before settling into retirement in Punta Gorda, Florida.
Warren’s lifetime was marked by a variety of hobbies, including horses, fishing, golfing, riding motorcycles and playing pool. His greatest pleasure, however, was taking his boat out on the water and spending time with his friends and family.
Warren is survived by his wife Diane, stepdaughter Debra Nuding, son Lance (Cheryl) Robbins, stepson Mark (Melanie) Ramsey, stepson Robert (Renee) Ramsey, daughter Beth (Clark) Robbins-Gamble, and was preceded in death by stepson Lee Ramsey, who is survived by his wife Linda. Additionally, Warren is survived by 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and his brother Dominic Caldara.
