Christopher (Chris) A. Cantasano, 27, of Punta Gorda, Florida, died unexpectedly Monday morning, August 4, 2008 at his Punta Gorda residence.

Born Christopher Adam Cantasano on May 24, 1981 in Baldwin, New York, Chris moved to Punta Gorda from Oceanside, New York in 1989. A Roman Catholic, Chris enjoyed life with his family and friends.

Chris is survived by his beloved mother, Maryalice Cantasano; 4 brothers, Charles (Chuck), Thomas (Tommy), Joseph (Joey), and Michael (Mikey) Cantasano, all of Charlotte County; three nieces and two nephews; three uncles, Lawrence Broughton of Ridgeway, PA, Denis Broughton of Ronkonkoma, NY, and Michael Cantasano of Honesdale, NY; five aunts, Anne Holton of Minneapolis, MN, Lucia Greenberg of Breezy Point, NY, Patrina Stanley of Honesdale, Annette Farrell of New York City, NY, and Rose Anne Cantasano of Port Charlotte, FL; and many cousins. Chris was preceded in death by his father, Charles (Chuck) Cantasano, III on November 16, 2006. He will be greatly missed by his family whom he loved so much.
