Bertrand was born January 3, 1942 in Tirana, Albania and moved to Port Charlotte 35 years ago from New York, NY. Bertrand was the owner of Ziggy’s Lounge in Port Charlotte. He was a member of Elks Lodge 2153, loyal order of Moose and was a Shriner and Mason. He was an entertaining and compassionate guy who will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Susan E. Kosturi; 3 daughters, Verra Kosturi of Savanna, GA, Deanna Kosturi-Moore of Atlanta, GA, Conni Kosturi-Davidson of Port Charlotte, FL and a step-daughter, Elizabeth DiAmico of Port Charlotte, FL; a son, Bertrand Kosturi, Jr. of Houston, TX; a brother, Arben (Flutra) Kosturi of Albania; 2 sisters, Nefi and Elsa both of Albania; 2 brother in laws, Herbert J. (Barbara) Gray, III of W. Warwick, RI and James (Diane) Gray of N. Attleboro, MA; 3 sister in laws, Mary A. (Albert) Sharp and Elizabeth J. Roberts both of N. Attleboro, MA and Anne Fiona Johnston of Port Charlotte, FL; 9 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Iris Johnston Kosturi and his grandson, Bertrand Kosturi, III.
