Domenico Monteleone, 87, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 at his home in Port Charlotte.

Domenico was born to Antonio and Concetta Monteleone on November 11, 1926 in Italy and moved to Port Charlotte 13 years ago from Norwalk, Connecticut. Domenico was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend and will always be remembered and loved by all who loved and knew him.

Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Giovanna; 3 sons, Antonio (MaryAnn) Monteleone of Milford, CT, Gaetano (Gaetana) Monteleone of Norwalk, CT and Joseph (Kelly) Monteleone of Port Charlotte; 2 daughters, Connie (John) Esposito and Maria (Larry) Efstathiades both of Port Charlotte; 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 6:00PM-8:00PM, Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM, Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, FL.

Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel.
