Samuel Morgani, 69, of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away unexpectantly on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Bayfront Health Port Charlotte.

Samuel was born to Saverio and Nancy Morgani on January 18, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York. He was a member of Pilgrim United Church of Christ for many years. Samuel was a teacher for 35 years at Rochester in New York City High School. Samuel was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He loved spending most of his time with his loving family and particularly his grandchildren. He will be missed dearly by all who loved and knew him.

Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Mary C; his daughter, Jennifer (Ken) Creola; a sister, Caroline (Chuck) Humphries; 2 brothers, Sal (Kathy) and Anthony (Carol) Morgani and 2 grandchildren, Nicholas Samuel and Gianna Marie.

Visitation will be held 6:00PM-8:00PM, Friday, December 9, 2016 at Roberson Funeral Home Punta Gorda Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held 12Noon, Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Pilgrim United Church of Christ in Port Charlotte. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made in Samuel Morgani’s name to any organization of choice.
