Mass of Christian Burial will also be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. at San Antonio Catholic Church in Port Charlotte.
Committal and burial to follow Mass at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte.

He was born January 5, 1924, in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania. Jerome, beloved husband and loving father of four children, Richard, Alice, Tom and John; moved with his wife Jane, from Wilmington, Delaware where he worked for Conrail, to Port Charlotte in 1984. He and Jane were members of San Antonio Catholic Church in Port Charlotte.
He is survived by sons, Thomas and John McHale; daughter, Alice Sulzer; three grandchildren, Bernard, Jason, Allison and her husband Mike; great grandpa to two great grandsons, Shane and Nathan; and a cousin, Mary Lou Peck. Jerome was preceded in death by a son, Richard “Dick” McHale in January of 2014, his beloved wife of 67 years, Jane C. McHale, in September of 2015, and daughter-in-law, Phyllis (John) McHale, in November of 2016.
