Charles “Charlie” Buscarello, 74, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019 in Port Charlotte, two months before his 75th birthday.
Charlie was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 25, 1945, to the late Sam and Ida (Martino) Buscarello. He was stricken with Polio at the age of three, and fought his whole life to walk and be able to lead a normal life, never considering himself disabled. He was an amazing man; strong in upper body strength and even stronger in determination.
Charlie, an owner of Trinity Auto Sales in Centerach, New York for many years, moved with the love of his life Judith “Judi” Migdol, to Port Charlotte, Florida in 2010. They had a wonderful life together – despite his handicap and health issues. He loved being with family, whether it was his immediate family, his cousins who he adored, or Judi’s family. He was a “family” man. His favorite thing to do was taking cruises with Judi – several a year. They were very much in love and supported each other through all hardships.
Charles is survived by his beloved Judi; sons Anthony (Sandra) Buscarello, and Joseph Buscarello; and one grandson, Ethan Buscarello. He also leaves behind Judi’s children who he considered his own, Michael (Michelle) Migdol, Melanie (William) Breuer, and Marissa (Joseph) Tufariello and their eight children, Peter, Jacob, Dylan, Grace, Mitchell, Kyle, Sydney, and Anna. He was very loved by all of them. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Vincent Buscarello and a six year old son, also named Charles.
Funeral services for Charlie will be held 11 a.m. this Saturday, December 28, 2019, at Roberson Funeral Homes Port Charlotte Chapel with committal and entombment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens cemetery in Port Charlotte.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Charlie’s memory are suggested to the Shriners Hospital for Children to which he was a monthly donor, at 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, Florida 33607, online at donorrelations@shrinenet.org, or by phone at 1-855-401-4897.
