Edward was born December 9, 1918 in Wakefield, Massachusetts, and moved to Port Charlotte in March of 2008 from Arcadia, FL. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the US Navy.
He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Betty A. Bruce, two sons, Bill Bruce of Manchester, NH and David Bruce of North Carolina; three daughters, Marcia LaBelle of Dartmouth, MA, Leah Bruce of Manchester, NH and Edna Schroeder of New Hampshire; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
