He was born October 22, 1992 in Leigh Acres, Florida. Even as a small child, his radiant smile lit up the room with joy and love. As Jordan grew older, his attachment to family made it so he and his sister, Jessica always protected each other. As a man, Jordan has grown to be such a handsome, enormously huge hearted person. He loved riding ATVs since he was old enough to reach the clutch.
Jordan only loved two women in his life and when he loved, he loved hard and protective. This wonderful young man came to North Port in 2007 with his Mother. He met Austin and Alex Young and immediately bonded. The boys shared the same birthday only 2 years apart. They have spent the last 8 years celebrating their birthdays together. Father God brought him home because he was so special for this world and he needed a loving, protecting soul for guidance to the right path.
Jordan and his friend Austin Young, who died the day before Jordan, were more like brothers and family to each other. We were blessed to have these young men in our lives. God Bless you both, we will love and miss you forever.
He is survived by his loving family, his mother, Deanna L. Hunt-Jones of North Port ; his father, H. Dean Hunt of Leigh Acres, FL, a sister, Jessica Hunt-Phelps of Port Charlotte; a brother-in-law, Cody Phelps; and grandparents, Rickey L. Hobbs and Loraine (Mikki) Hobbs of Port Charlotte.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 2:00 PM, November 12, 2015 at the South Biscayne Baptist Church, 13000 Tamiami Trail, North Port, Florida 34287. Interment will follow at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, Punta Gorda, Florida.
