Kathleen C. Hendrickson, 93, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away Tuesday morning, December 30, 2008 at her Port Charlotte residence.
Born Kathleen Cardiff on February 9, 1915 in Rochester, New York, Kathleen, a retired secretary for the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, lived in Spencerport, New York until relocating to Port Charlotte, Florida in 1976. She is a member of First Presbyterian Church of Port Charlotte, the Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club, Punta Gorda Boat Club and Punta Gorda Sail Club, and Navy League of the U.S.
Kathleen is survived by her beloved children, sons William C. Hendrickson and Rev. Dr. Thomas Hendrickson, and daughters Kathleen H. Hull and Carmon E. Hendrickson; two sisters, Marion C. Barry and Margaret C. Brown; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, Samuel Carmon Hendrickson on January 3, 2002.
