Marion Lenore McVicker, 72, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Thursday, December 19, 2024, peacefully at home.
Marion was born May 8, 1952, in Queens Borough, City of New York, New York to the late Harold Joseph Smith and Mary Jane (Sales) Smith. She moved to Port Charlotte in 1997, from Long Island NY, town of Ronkonkoma. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and rarely ever missed a Mass. She loved boating, fishing and going out to lunch with her husband. She really enjoyed gardening at home, keeping her home in pristine condition, and maintaining her entire household to look phenomenal. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved it when her six children and husband were together with her.
Survived by her loving family, her husband, Michael H. McVicker, two daughters, Rachel Shockley_and Lenore Delucie; four sons, Adam Heinlein, Thomas Heinlein, Shawn Heinlein, and Brian Heinlein; a sister, Barbra Lamm; two brothers, Robert Smith and Campbell Smith, 12 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
A Memorial Mass celebrating Marion’s life will be held Wednesday 1:00 PM, January 15, 2024, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 21505 Augusta Ave., Port Charlotte, FL 33952. Interment will follow in St. Charles Borromeo Memorial Garden.
