Paula Christine Covey-Tilton, 70, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Thursday, September 25,2025 at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital, Port Charlotte, Florida.

Paula was born April 10, 1955, in Dayton, Ohio to the late Richard Paul Seas and Rama Jean (Andrews) Seas. She moved to Port Charlotte in 2016 from Clayton, Ohio. She was a highly valued sales lady for Miami industrial Trucks and great bartender at Grills Tavern located in Stringtown / Trotwood, Ohio

Survived by her loving family, her husband, Danny E. Tilton, Jr., three daughters, Christie Tilton, Carlie Barrett, and Katie Rosenbeck; two sons, Jacob Covey, and Joshua Tilton; a brother, Richard A. Seas; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Sunday 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM Oct. 5, 2025, at Roberson Funeral Home, 2151 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, FL 33948. Graveside services and interment will be held Monday 2:00 PM, October 6, 2025, at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 1380 Forrest Nelson Blvd., Port Charlotte, FL 33952.

In keeping with Paula’s love of animals, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite dog rescue organization in her honor.

I don't know how to start this. I never imagined Paula could pass away. The best laugh and the most beautiful smile. I get it, we all get there, it's one of those unavoidable, unchangeable facts of life, that there is an end. Some people make you question that just through their larger than life presence, and that was Paula to me. If anyone could tell you when, where and why, it was her. To Dan and her kids, I am so sorry for your loss. Grief cannot be measured, but it usually comes in the same size package as the love shared. I was blessed to witness Paula look at you all, talk about you all with all of the love in her heart. I am praying for God to comfort and bring peace in the heartache. She will be so missed. Love to all of you. Paula, I won't tell you to rest, because something tells me you've been at the reunion of a lifetime, and I just know you are far too busy. Just know that you meant the world to our family and I know you are now free from all the ailments holding you back here. See you when I get there. I love you!
