Robert Randall Nuzum, 62, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at his home.

Robert was born December 30, 1950 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and moved to Port Charlotte 12 years ago from there. Robert was the owner of Robert Nuzum Painting of Pittsburg, PA for 30 years. He was an award winning painter with the North Hills Builders Association. He was known to numerous family members and friends as Randy as he worked for Spectrum Painting Inc. in Port Charlotte. Randy was a wonderful and caring man and he will be missed dearly by all who loved and knew him.

Survivors include his loving wife Dorothy aka (DJ); a stepson, Mark Anatra of Sarasota and Pittsburg, PA; 4 brothers, Edward, Bradley, Sterling and Donald Nuzum all of Port Charlotte; 4 sisters, Linda Calderone and Barbara Thomas both of Port Charlotte, Susan Newell of Pittsburg, PA and Nyla Gallina of Kent, OH and his best friend, Phillip Calderone of Port Charlotte and Pittsburg, PA.

So sorry to hear of Randall's passing. I remember Grandma & Grandpa Nuzum taking me with them to Pittsburgh (January 1951) to see the new baby, Randall. I was ten at the time. Over the years we've always lived many miles apart, so I haven't been in touch with my Uncle Ed & Aunt Ruth's family, except at times like this. My wish for the other family members is that your good memories of Randall will sustain you during this difficult time. My husband, Warren, & I are snowbirds. We spend the winter months in Englewood to escape the cold in our hometown of Parkersburg. Again, I'm sorry for your loss of Randall.
