Robin Laura Shuck, 75, of Port Charlotte, Florida died on Friday, November 22, 2024, at HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, Florida.
Robin was born on May 18, 1949, in Washington, D.C. to the late Lewis F. Malcolm Jr. and Evangeline L. Malcolm. She moved to Port Charlotte in 2011 from Maryland.
She graduated from Robert E. Peary High School (Rockville, MD) in 1967. She loved swimming and swam for Manor Club swim team.
She has held many jobs including Ford Motor Credit Company and Best Locking Systems where she grew into the role of master key supervisor. While there, she worked in the front office with customers, pinning cores and cutting keys and retired in 2004.
She was survived by her only daughter, Jennifer Lavelle Peyton and son in law Sean Peyton of Mount Airy, MD, a brother, David of Utah and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Lewis III, Bruce and Scott and husbands Walter C. Heflin Jr. and Michael P. Shuck.
A Memorial service celebrating Robin’s life will be held at Faith Lutheran Church (551 Rotonda Blvd W, Rotonda West, FL 33947) on January 18, 2025, at 2PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in her honor.
