Stephen E. Prose, 67, of Palmetto, Florida passed away Friday, December 26, 2025 in Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida.
Stephen was born to Valentine and Evelyn Prose on December 18, 1958 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Stephen was one of those guys that was cool in everything he did. He was a bass guitarist in numerous bands for many years. He was an avid music enthusiast that included classic rock to alternative rock. He always dressed fashionably anywhere he went and made people laugh with his out of the normal pranks. Stephen was a well-liked man who will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Survivors include his loving daughter, Ciera Prose; his sister, Linda Beck; his brothers, Doug Prose, David Prose and Rick Prose.
A visitation will be held 10:00AM-11:00AM followed by a celebration of life service by the family at 11:00AM, Friday, January 16, 2025 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, FL.
